Soccer Recap: Radford Makes It Five in a Row at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Radford had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chatham Cavaliers a 2-0 shutout. Radford haven't had any issues with Chatham recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Enzo Pugliese and Robert Fuksz scored both of Radford's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Radford pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Chatham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8-1.

Radford didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Nelson County on the 3rd. Chatham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
