Football Game Preview: North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights vs. South Wake Lions

The North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights will take on the South Wake Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Friday, North Raleigh Christian Academy came up short against Trinity Christian and fell 14-7. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Even if they lost, North Raleigh Christian Academy's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Carter Klick, Davin McCoy, and John Amanchukwu, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, South Wake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 61-6 loss at the hands of High Point Christian Academy. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-0.

South Wake's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything came up roses for North Raleigh Christian Academy against South Wake in their previous matchup back in August of 2022, as the team secured a 49-0 victory. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
