Volleyball Recap: Arrupe Jesuit Comes Up Short

After flying high against Alameda on Tuesday, Arrupe Jesuit came back down to earth. The Generals lost 3-0 to the Middle Park Panthers on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Generals have suffered since September 17th.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-16.

Arelly Diaz paced Arrupe Jesuit's offense, picking up six kills. Diaz got some help from Caroline Minjarez and her seven assists.

Arrupe Jesuit's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7. As for Middle Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Arrupe Jesuit will take on Fort Lupton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middle Park, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Arvada on the 11th.
