Wimberley entered their tilt with Canyon Lake on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Canyon Lake. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Texans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Lilli Sandoval paced Wimberley's offense, picking up eight kills. Sandoval got some help from Skylar Herring and her 19 assists.

Wimberley's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Canyon Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Wimberley has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Seguin on the 29th. As for Canyon Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Floresville on the 29th.
