Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Moore's Ninth in Last 12 Outings

Moore hadn't beaten Evangel Christian on the road since January 16, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Moore Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Evangel Christian Eagles, sneaking past 64-61. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-56 back in December of 2024.

Moore is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. Evangel Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 19 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season.

Moore will head out on the road to take on North Bullitt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Bullitt knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Moore likes a good challenge. Evangel Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
