Softball Recap: Monacan Comes Up Short

Monacan lost against Cosby back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Monacan lost 9-3 to Cosby. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monacan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Wilcheck, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Monacan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Cosby has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Monacan will take on rival Midlothian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cosby is set to square off against their familiar foe James River Midlothian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
