Volleyball Recap: Jefferson City Takes a Loss

Jefferson City lost against Marshfield back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jays took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays.

Despite the loss, Jefferson City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ella Showers had 29 digs and three assists. Those 29 digs set a new season-high mark for Showers.

Jefferson City's defeat dropped their record down to 19-14-1. As for Marshfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-9-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Jefferson City nor Marshfield have any future games scheduled.
