Volleyball Recap: Madison Comprehensive Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Philadelphia on Tuesday, Madison Comprehensive came back down to earth. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Wooster Generals on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-7.

Paityn Butler paced Madison Comprehensive's offense, picking up four kills. Butler got some help from Maddie Berry and her seven assists.

Madison Comprehensive dropped their record down to 5-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Wooster, their record is now 14-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Madison Comprehensive will face off against South Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wooster, they will challenge Perry at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
