Volleyball Recap: Wayne County Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Wayne County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Clarkdale Bulldogs on Monday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Clarkdale has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne County will challenge Greene County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarkdale, they will head out to take on West Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
