Lauren Roehrig put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April on Thursday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Valders back in April, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. With that strong performance, Roehrig is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
