Basketball Recap: San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cuyama Valley last Friday, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy came back down to earth. The San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 37-36 to the Maricopa Indians. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 37-34.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maricopa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aidan Roa, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 16 points. Diego Rivera was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Maricopa, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-7 record.

As of now, neither San Luis Obispo Classical Academy nor Maricopa have any future games scheduled.
