The Hatton Hornets's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over Phil Campbell. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hatton also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hatton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eva Armstead, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Armstead has scored at least 25% of Hatton's points. Alaska Jones was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 7 rebounds.

The victory got Hatton back to even at 2-2. As for Phil Campbell, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Hatton will be playing at home against Lawrence County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Phil Campbell's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hackleburg at 5:30 p.m. on December 4th.
