After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Richmond Heights, Buchtel was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Garfield Community Learning Center Golden Rams by a score of 57-47. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 72-66 victory last Friday.

Despite the loss, Garfield Community Learning Center still got an impressive performance from Rayshawn Hamilton, who went 7 of 17 to rack up 18 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Hamilton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lamont Brooks, who posted eight points.

Buchtel is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Garfield Community Learning Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Buchtel will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jackson at 5:45 p.m. on February 18th.
