Recap: Primero Bulldogs vs. Hoehne Farmers
While it was all tied up 18-18 at halftime, the Primero Bulldogs were not quite the Hoehne Farmers's equal in the second half on Saturday. Primero took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hoehne. Primero was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hoehne apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.
Hoehne can attribute much of their success to Levon Bachicha, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayson Guzzo, who scored 7 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals.
Primero now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Hoehne, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Primero will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Creede at 2:30 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Creede focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday. As for Hoehne, they will take on Sedgwick County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
