El Cajon Valley is 1-6 against Steele Canyon since September of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Last Monday, everything went El Cajon Valley's way against Monte Vista as El Cajon Valley made off with a 3-0 win.

Steele Canyon kept the net locked down and finished the game with 14 blocks. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now had at least five blocks in 23 consecutive matchups.
