Softball Recap: Rancho Cotate Wins Going Away Against Analy

Rancho Cotate was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Analy on Thursday. The Cougars blew past the Tigers 11-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted against the Tigers since April 13, 2023.

Lily Alvis was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Yahya Sadie, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rancho Cotate kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Rancho Cotate's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Analy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
