Baseball Recap: Mcclain's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Eastern on Monday, McClain came back down to earth. McClain came up short against the Westfall Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 11-2. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

McClain got a good showing from Eli Douglas, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Having lost for the first time this season, McClain fell to 2-1. Westfall has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as McClain Tigers face off against Fairfield Lions at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westfall, they will head out to square off against London at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
