Calumet lost to Negaunee back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Copper Kings took down the Miners 33-18. The Copper Kings' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Ben Anderson was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 72 receiving yards and one score.

Anderson was just one part of a punishing run game: Calumet was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 255 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 255 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Calumet's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Negaunee, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
