Volleyball Recap: Sand Rock Gets the Win

Sand Rock won the last time they faced Coosa and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

Sand Rock never let Coosa on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Coosa's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava King, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Sand Rock's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Coosa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Coosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Murray County on the 23rd. Hopefully Sand Rock paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles on Saturday.
