A Season-Best Effort from Nate Luzadder Leads Frankton over Blackford

Frankton was led to victory by Nate Luzadder, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Luzadder rushed for 279 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

If history really does repeat itself, Luzadder might just drop another big game when he faces off against Elwood on Friday. When Luzadder last faced the Panthers back in September of 2023, he rushed for 182 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry.

Ah'Lijah Monday's big game helped extend Mississinewa's winning streak to eight on Friday. Monday was unstoppable, rushing for 167 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Those 167 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Mississinewa pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Monday and Mississinewa are taking a road trip to face off against Madison-Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
