Softball Recap: Southwest Christian School Falls Short of Hyde Park in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Southwest Christian School couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 11-2 to the Hyde Park Panthers on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Southwest Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 20-7-1. As for Hyde Park, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Southwest Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hyde Park, they will challenge Midland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 2.6, the Mustangs 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
