Volleyball Recap: Teutopolis Starts off Right with Win over Casey-Westfield

Teutopolis had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Casey-Westfield Warriors 2-1. The Wooden Shoes haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Teutopolis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 27-25, 25-17.

Looking ahead, Teutopolis will venture away from home to square off against Richland County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Casey-Westfield, they will host Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
