Yorktown had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Brewster Bears as they made off with a 69-45 win. Given the Huskers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Bears are ranked 589th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Yorktown pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Brewster, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
