Basketball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Glide Wildcats and fell 50-14. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-13 back in January.

Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Glide, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Douglas and Glide's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Douglas will square off against Sutherlin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, a team that's only allowed 29.1 points per game. Meanwhile, Glide and Coquille (who has only given up 23.4 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
