Softball Recap: Fayette Ware Takes a Loss

Fayette Ware was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Germantown Red Devils.

Mackenzie German was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Isabella Marino, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Fayette Ware's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Germantown, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Red Devils beat Fayette Ware by a score of 18-6 later that day.
