It's playoff time, and Coventry had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 49-38 victory over the Morgan Huskies on Sunday. The win was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won ten matches in a row.

Coventry's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hailey Mayo led the charge by dropping a double-double with 18 points and 17 boards. Jianna Foran was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 12 points along with five assists and five steals.

Coventry was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Morgan only six assists.

Morgan's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Teuner, who posted eight points and 12 rebounds. Teuner is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sadie Passante, who had 18 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Coventry's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Morgan, they moved to 21-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Coventry nor Morgan have any future games scheduled.
