Colon won the last time they faced Berrien Springs and things went their way on Saturday too. The Magi sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Shamrocks.

Berrien Springs' loss came despite strong showings from Sierra Zencka and Meilah Mitchelle. Zencka had 11 digs and one assist, while Mitchelle had six digs. Zencka is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Colon now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Berrien Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13-4 record this season.

Colon has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Brandywine on the 4th. As for Berrien Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Bronson on the 4th.
