Basketball Recap: Northpoint Christian Comes Up Short

Northpoint Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 40-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx on Friday. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lynx earlier this season, when they won 54-24.

Northpoint Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Lausanne Collegiate, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northpoint Christian will challenge Evangelical Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they will take on St. George's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lausanne Collegiate is facing St. George's at the right time seeing as St. George's is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
