Berean Christian has gone a perfect 8-0 against Mt. Diablo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out to challenge the Red Devils at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Berean Christian has three straight victories, Mt. Diablo has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Berean Christian's win against Concord wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Bears 1-0.

Not much got past Luke Upshaw, who gave up just four hits to keep Concord off the board.

At the plate, Berean Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Upshaw, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Upshaw has hit this season.

Berean Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Mt. Diablo fell victim to Miramonte and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 23-0 to the Matadors.

Berean Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Mt. Diablo, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Mt. Diablo's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Berean Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Mt.
