Volleyball Game Preview: University City Centurions vs. High Tech SD Storm

University City is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the High Tech SD Storm at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

University City saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Centennial. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, High Tech SD was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Helix. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Storm have suffered since March 29, 2024.

While High Tech SD was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-16.

High Tech SD's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for University City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.

University City beat High Tech SD 2-0 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will University City repeat their success, or does High Tech SD has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
