Watertown had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They came out on top against the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Arrows, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Watertown was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-14.

Watertown was led to victory by Andi Olson and Jordan Remmers. Olson had 24 digs, while Remmers had 13 digs. Olson has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 13 times she's played.

Despite the loss, Yankton saw an underclassman step up: freshman Brenna Elwood had 12 digs and 12 assists. Madison Gukeisen also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Watertown's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Yankton, they moved to 10-15 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Watertown has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Harrisburg on the 4th. As for Yankton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Brookings on the 4th.
