Basketball Recap: Savannah Christian's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Savannah Christian was riding high fresh off their 65-27 takedown of The Habersham School on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell just short of the Bolles Bulldogs by a score of 58-56 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Raiders have suffered since January 14th.

John Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bolles, shooting 78% from the field en route to 23 points. Williams is becoming a predictor of the Bulldogs' success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Jesse Williams was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Savannah Christian fell to 3-1. As for Bolles, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Savannah Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-57 victory against Episcopal School of Jacksonville on the 6th. As for Bolles, they will host North Florida Educational Institute at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
