A Season-Best Performance from Andrew Waletich Leads Sherwood over Mcminnville

Sherwood was led to victory by Andrew Waletich, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Waletich rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 62 yards.

If history really does repeat itself, Waletich might just drop another big game when he faces off against Liberty on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Waletich saw the Falcons), he rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Century's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Hussein Kamel

On the season, Kamel has averaged 4.2 total tackles per game and for the season has 2 sacks. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.17 defended passes per game. This year he is averaging 0.5 defended passes.
