Baseball Recap: Anclote Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Anclote's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Canterbury Crusaders on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Sharks have lost by exactly four runs.

Anclote now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Canterbury, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Anclote will be playing at home against Gulf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Canterbury, they will venture away from home to challenge Tampa Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Crusaders 1.5, the Terrapins 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
