Baseball Recap: West Union Dragons vs. Clay Panthers

West Union kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell victim to a tough 11-2 defeat at the hands of the Clay Panthers. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Union in their matchups with Clay: they've now lost three in a row.

For Clay's part, Dawson James made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks). James was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 1-for-4.
