Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Henry Ford Academy's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

The Henry Ford Academy Navigators sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Lincoln-King Academy Eagles on Thursday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Henry Ford Academy who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 17-25, 25-21, 17-25, 15-9.

Henry Ford Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Lincoln-King Academy, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4-1.

Coming up, Henry Ford Academy will host Summit Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln-King Academy, they will venture away from home to take on University Prep Science & Math at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
