Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oakcrest). They never let the Cape May County Tech Hawks get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Oakcrest has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Cape May County Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11-1.

Looking ahead, Oakcrest will head out to take on Buena at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chiefs have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Cape May County Tech, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Wildwood at 4:00 p.m.
