Kendall Christie made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Gabby White was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Silver Creek got themselves on the board against Charlestown on Wednesday, but Charlestown never followed suit. They blew past the Pirates 15-0. Considering the Dragons have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Like North Harrison, Silver Creek also got a great game from a two-way player: Lily Philpott. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Philpott was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kinlee Whitlock, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Avery Rankin was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Silver Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Charlestown only posted an OBP of .211.
North Harrison's record is now 19-7. As for Silver Creek, their record now sits at 20-8.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. North Harrison hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Silver Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
