Volleyball Recap: Palmer Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Kayden Tyan and Rose Mamot

Palmer lost against Elba back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Palmer sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 10-25, 25-18.

Rose Mamot and Kayden Tyan certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Mamot had 16 digs, while Tyan had 21 assists and 19 digs. Tyan has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Elba, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

Palmer has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Fullerton on the 2nd. As for Elba, they will square off against Anselmo-Merna on Thursday.
