Softball Recap: Versailles Find Success

Versailles posted their closest win since March 15, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Lincoln Cardinals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Versailles' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Lincoln, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Versailles will venture away from home to challenge Warsaw at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Lakeland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
