Volleyball Recap: Ada Wins Going Away Against Upper Scioto Valley

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pandora-Gilboa, Ada was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Upper Scioto Valley Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Ada walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-13.

Alyssa Madison was nothing short of spectacular: she had 23 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Ada was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are a perfect 9-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Ada's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they dropped their record down to 5-16 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ada will be taking part in a tournament against Lima Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will welcome Hardin Northern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
