Football Recap: Chagrin Falls Find Success

Chagrin Falls's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Independence Blue Devils as they made off with a 31-9 victory. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

Chagrin Falls' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Independence, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Chagrin Falls will welcome Cuyahoga Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Independence, they are taking a road trip to square off against Wickliffe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wickliffe's defense has only allowed 7.2 points per game this season, so Independence's offense will have their work cut out for them.
