Softball Game Preview: Bishop Ready Silver Knights vs. Bexley Lions

For the second straight game, Bishop Ready will face off against Bexley. The Silver Knights will be playing at home against the Lions at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Ready is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Bishop Ready's offense. They lost 21-0 to Bexley on Saturday.

For Bexley's part, the team relied heavily on Davaney Prophet, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five runs, and two triples. That's the most hits Prophet has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Lemon, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Bexley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .657. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory snapped Bexley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-5 record. As for Bishop Ready, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
