Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Ohio County

Ohio County came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Todd County Central Rebels. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on Thursday.

Madyson Crowe (2027) was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Talynn Clark (2026), who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brylie Keown (2028), who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one triple.

Ohio County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in five consecutive games.
