Basketball Recap: Mathews Wins Going Away Against King William

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Colonial Beach, Mathews was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took down the King William Cavaliers 42-23. That looming 42-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Blue Devils yet this season.

Mathews' victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for King William, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Mathews will be home for the holidays to greet West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for King William, they will head out to square off against Westmoreland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
