Football Preview: Lugoff-Elgin Demons vs. Darlington Falcons

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Darlington beat North Myrtle Beach 27-21 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.
Jaylen Augustus had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 184 yards on only 14 carries, and also threw for 223 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt. He got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible97 yards. Troy Hailey also helped out as he racked up 114 rushing yards.
Lugoff-Elgin's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Darlington, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
Lugoff-Elgin was able to grind out a solid victory over Darlington in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, winning 7-0.
