Basketball Recap: East Skates Past Columbus International with Ease

It was a proper cat-fight when East challenged Columbus International on Tuesday. The East Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Columbus International Lions 63-24. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Daeshawn Fiore was his usual excellent self, putting up 25 points. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darnell Kellam, who posted ten points.

East's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Columbus International, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-54 victory against Beechcroft on the 20th. As for Columbus International, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-41 defeat against Mifflin on the 20th.
