Preview: Minooka Indians vs. West Aurora Blackhawks
Minooka has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against The West Aurora Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Minooka will be strutting in after a win while West Aurora will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Minooka had just enough and edged Oswego out 13-10.
Meanwhile, West Aurora fell victim to Plainfield North's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a 10-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. West Aurora just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Minooka is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for West Aurora, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Everything came up roses for Minooka against West Aurora when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 47-20 win. Does Minooka have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Aurora turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
