Volleyball Game Preview: Pinkerton Astros vs. Exeter Blue Hawks

The Pinkerton Astros will head out on the road to face off against the Exeter Blue Hawks at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pinkerton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Bishop Guertin, who was ranked seventh at the time (Pinkerton was ranked eighth). The Astros came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Exeter made easy work of Timberlane on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Hawks in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won four in a row.

Pinkerton's record now sits at 13-1. As for Exeter, their record is now 5-6-1.

Everything went Pinkerton's way against Exeter in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Pinkerton made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Astros since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
