Football Recap: Boulder Panthers vs. Centaurus Warriors
Boulder had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Centaurus Warriors on the road and fell 38-7. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row dating back to last season.

Centaurus got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jax Lewis out in front who picked up 148 receiving yards and a touchdown. Lewis got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of76 yards. Tysen Burton also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Centaurus' victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
Boulder will be defending their home-field for the first timethey go up against Silver Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Boulder focused on turnovers this week as team gave up five on Friday. As for Centaurus, they are taking a road trip to take on Niwot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
